[00:00:00] The creator shadows of the soul chapter nine bridging the gaps despite the warnings from his tech savvy friend David and the fictional author that he created from the other world, Danny resolves to bring Galatea across the bridge of his imagination and into his own physical world, fully aware that it may risk everything. With his personal ties resolved regarding his ex, Theresa, and a promise made to Galatea, he prepares to face the consequences, knowing that his emotional connection has driven him to defy cosmic balance and the codes which govern existence. That night, as sleep takes him in, Danny finds himself in a dream that is anything but welcoming.
[00:00:50] There is a voice which is booming, filled with authority.
[00:00:55] A towering form materializes, tall and imposing eyes glowing with an intense light.
[00:01:03] It is the cosmic guardian, and it glares at Danny, the air crackling with energy.
[00:01:10] What are you doing?
[00:01:13] You are meddling with forces that could destabilize everything you've already set in motion. But not just that, but, well, everything.
[00:01:25] Bringing her across the bridge, it could be the final straw, the one that breaks the camel's back. Can't you leave well enough alone?
[00:01:37] Dani says.
[00:01:39] I just can't leave her in this two dimensional world, she's developed consciousness and emotions. It would be inhumane to dangle autonomy in front of her and then not to follow through. Remember, I'm risking as much as you. I'm risking existence, too. The cosmic guardian frowns, but its tone softens slightly, almost contemplative. Humanity, inhumanity, free will and faith, they're all part of the same thread, Danny. But know this. Crossing the nexus, crossing this bridge of your creation, may not bring the resolution that you seek. You must be prepared for what follows. Danny, determined, his voice steady, says, I understand the risks, but I'm willing to take them. I'm not turning back now. The cosmic guardian watches him for a moment in a dream, then slowly fades into the mist of the dreamscape, leaving Danny alone, the weight of his decisions heavy on him. Galatea appears again, saying softly, whatever happens, Danny, remember I will be there with you. Danny nods, feeling the weight of his decision, and the dreamscape begins to dissolve, leaving him to face the consequences of his choice.
[00:03:00] The mission originates in his study, before his computer and his keyboard. Typing away, he says, the bridge was familiar, a surreal landscape of the fiction world, the world that I knew so well from writing. The surroundings are dreamlike, filled with elements of stories that I've already created blending together in an ethereal haze. I'm on the fiction side of the bridge, the place where I always go when I write. But this time, I'm not here to create. I'm here to bring.
